FastCGI

Just set up movable type to use FastCGI following Ben’s instructions. I can’t quite tell if it is faster so far. I’m supposing that it takes a while to cache the first time you hit some pages. Hopefully it does get faster in the long run. I’m not so sure how templates work in MovableType but hopefully I’ll figure out. Another thing I want to look into is tweaking the QuickPost bookmarklet from MovableType.

Hmm.. looks like the apture link didn't carry over for FastCGI.

Thanks for the link, but, to be honest, I've switched back to normal CGI on my own site. FastCGI was maybe a little faster, but there were also some strange errors, and I wasn't able to restart the FastCGI processes after killing them.
