Over the years, my everyday wardrobe has been replaced by company apparel. There is some contention here as the notion of me wearing free t-shirts has been challenged with by my girlfriend’s concern of how I look. Personally, I like both sides of the spectrum, but one ends up being considerably cheaper.
The year is nearing its end, and knowing the internet, that means the time for lists to sprout up everywhere is just around the corner. I wanted to make a list of my favorite schwag from 2008. I’ve been exposed to many schwag events this year, from career fairs to SIGGRAPH to the BlogWorld convention.
But, it seems kind of mean to blog about my schwag. I always thought schwag (sometimes spelled “swag”) stood for Stuff We All Get and in this case, we don’t all get it! Talking about it would just be bragging and I wouldn’t want to do that. (I did get a Renderman Teapot from Pixar though.) Unfortunately, I have no idea what to blog about instead.
