Yesterday, I took my last final as an undergrad. Despite the class having a reputation for being one of the easiest CS classes offered, the final took surprisingly long. I was the third one finished and I only had three minutes left. In contrast, most people seemed to leave the midterm half way through.
Today, I’ll be grading my last assignments and finals as a section leader. I have been in the section leading program for 11 quarters and it’s going to feel weird not teaching. I’m hoping to TA next year but we’ll see how that turns out.
Hopefully, in the coming days, it will not be the last I see of so many of the friends I’ve made here. I don’t think too many of us are leaving northern California, but still, people eventually live their lives in their own little worlds.
